Creve Coeur Junior Police High School Scholarship Program
Creve Coeur Junior Police was established to offer activities to school-aged children in our community; to promote community involvement and instill lifelong values; and to encourage family involvement and positive interaction with first responders.
Having begun in 2017, Creve Coeur Junior Police (CCJP) continues its mission by offering a wide range of activities to the children of our community. Educational activities provide children opportunities to learn skills such as basic first aid and the operation and care of equipment and gear used by emergency responders. CCJP also offers Family fun activities which provide children opportunities to interact with other children, first responders, and their family members. Our participants embark on trips to local parks, zoos, sporting events, and local businesses. CCJP engages in community service events such as canned food drives, cleaning and maintaining veteran memorials, planting flowers in the community, and constructing picnic tables for the local park district. The goal of CCJP is to provide children with an understanding of the importance of volunteering in their community and providing services for those in need, both now and as adults.
The Creve Coeur Junior Police Board believes it is important to serve one’s community and are committed to providing opportunities for the children in our community to participate in service activities. To further this commitment, we are proudly offering a Creve Coeur Junior Police High School Scholarship, which will be awarded to current or past Creve Coeur residents whom have served as a CCJP member or participates in volunteer community service activities through another organization(s).
